Katie DeHart (Licensed Aesthetician)

Katie is a California licensed aesthetician with seventeen years of experience in medical aesthetics. She graduated from California State University Monterey Bay and received her spa and hospitality management certification through UC Irvine. She completed advanced training in oncology aesthetics and was an aesthetician school instructor, where she instilled in her students and patients the importance of confidence, self-care, a positive outlook, and lifelong education.

Katie was born and raised in Pleasure Point in Santa Cruz County. She remembers spending her childhood playing at the beach until the sun went down. She is married to a firefighter with whom she shares a passion for cooking, and they take culinary classes together and enjoy exploring new recipes. “It was very important to me to start my family in my beautiful hometown,” she says. “My toddler and I practice mindfulness, yoga, and relaxation techniques together. We practice living in gratitude.”

“Through the course of my life and education, I was fortunate to have great mentors who led by example,” she continues, “with kindness and an open heart and mind. I have tried to do the same, serving as a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area, and I have been a foster parent. It’s important to me to give back to my community, and aesthetics is part of that. This industry is rapidly growing and changing, and I love growing and changing with it. I take pride in my ongoing efforts to educate myself in an industry that I am passionate about, and I feel gratitude for being able to work in a field that I love.”
