Sonya Moreno

Sonya is a certified massage practitioner who trained at Central Coast Massage Institute and has twenty-five years of experience as a massage therapist.  She is trained in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger and pressure point release, and transverse friction to reduce scar tissue adhesions.  She has worked in outpatient physical therapy practices for more than twenty years, and she draws from that experience to improve the health and wellness of her clients.    

When she is not at work, Sonya enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family.  She loves taking nature walks and likes to collect shells and special rocks on the beach with her daughter. 

“I am passionate about massage, and I love what I do,” she says. “I believe in the healing nature of the human touch. It helps us achieve mental, physical, and spiritual balance and enables us to connect with ourselves and each other. That, I think, should be our ultimate goal.”
